feeding of my ig

my ig is very weird about his food. can you feed tofu to ig's
is it nutrional? he doesn't not like melissa kaplans diet. i tried it for 31/2 weeks and no go. he does not like alpalpha. i may need to go to alphalpha grass instead of pellets. a friend of mine said to feed him tofu. she stated that she has two huge ig that are fed with tofu and vegis.
