Having this lizard run loose in the house has gotten to be the normal state of affairs around here - we gotta be out of our minds! A few days ago, I and the grands went out and cut a small, stunted Pine with a lot of fairly thick top branches. Trimmed it to size and scrubbed it down with vinigar to de-bug it, let it sit a few hours, and scrubbed it again. Then, after a couple of days sitting, we rinsed it and set it up in a corner that he likes. Placed the lizard on it. The little monster seems to like it well enough.

The idea being, if we can get him to consider the limb as his territory, I can do his UV light properly and get himm the hell out of my closet.

He likes his limb well enough, it seems, traveling from the ceiling to the floor, resting, then climbimg back again. But I think it will be a while before he actually becomes attached to it enough to sleep there. It will be almost like re-climating him.

At the moment, he is touring my daughter's bedroom. Interesting animal, this Iguana. Like him more all the time.

This weekend, comes it the claws!
