: : Well glad Garoot will keep you around for awhile longer,especially since you're doing a good job for him.If that skin under his belly is a somewhat brownish yellowish color it could well be just a shed.If he was burned ,sounds like it was a mild burn and he was lucky.As Gina said tho,he does need darkness to sleep so if you need heat, use a heat pad ,some people use black or red lights at night,but I'm not sure if they can affect his sleeping.Keep up the good work and he'll keep you even longer if you're lucky.
