A lesson to be learned on why iguanas and beardies don't mix

Although this photo was taken over a year ago... an event recently transpired that shows the problems that can arise from mixing different species of lizards.

As Sleestack (ig) was all comfy on his blanket getting ready for bed, Flapjack (beardie) was wandering nearby when the lights went out for bedtime. *FLOP* Flapjack must go to sleep as soon as the lights are out so he seeks out a place to wedge his spiny little body into.... hmmmm Sleestack's side and armpit look good enough! In goes Flapjack, butt wriggling to get comfy, jamming his spiky self into Slee's ribs....ahhh sleep. ***BLINK, BLINK** Sleestack is suddenly awake and readjusting his body which suddenly feels like it has 50 splinters in between his scales! GoshDarn Dragon!!!! Doesn't he know this is iguana territory??? Hmmmmph... he gets up and moves to the very edge of his blanky... giving Flapjack 90% of his space just to avoid that prickly b@stard! So you see... Iguanas and beardies just don't mix because beardies are not good cuddle partners! (and they aren't smart enough to know it!)

In all seriousness, reptiles of different species shouldn't be kept together because there are many dangers (to those who do not recognize my sarcasm) This is a true story, however!
