iguanas in need of help.......recopy message from IML

Hi all,
If I'm not mistaken, these iguanas will be put down if they don't find a home for them in the next few weeks. Thought I'd post it here, with a chance someone would either be able to help or know of someone who would (hint:PB-BDmom)

Hello List,

I'd like to ask if you have any other Florida members? I would like to ask for help, if I could. I have been contacted by a Vet student from UF in Gainesville. She has many research animals that need good homes. I"m not sure that I can house all 12 Igs at this time. All are large adults and have been taken care of at the university for at least 4 years. There are 8 single adult females and two m/f pairs.

She says:
"They have all been given primarily Zeigler's iguana diet for the past 4 years, although I expect that they would switch to a salad-based diet fairly easily."

They need homes within a week or two. I am going
there tomorrow to pick up a few of them but I can handle only so many with the six I already have in residence. Could any of you help? She says they can be shipped.
