Okidoki all,
When I was chatting with Iguamamomma and Sneaks, we started talking about iguana sex toys. I told them what I had 'invented' for Bones last year when he was in season, and I made him a new one this year, and it's still a hit. Since it pleases Bones, I thought I'd send it along to you folks. :)
_LuvSock Delux_
You will need:
2 large, thick cotton socks
1 bag of plain white rice
neddle/thread/or sewing machine
microwave
Take the two socks and put one inside the other, so they are double thick. Fill socks with the rice. I recommend filling them so they are not quite packed tight, so they are a bit squishy and have a little give. Sew the socks up really, really well, so there is no danger of it coming unsewed. Pop into the microwave just long enough to make it comfortably warm.....use caution with this, because a microwave can easily get things too hot, making thermal burns a danger. Be very sure the toy is not too warm. The heat seems to be the main attraction, because when it cooled down, Bones lost interest. Also, keep an eye on your ig while he uses this...despite the double socks, some igs, especially the really large ones, get very enthusiastic with their biting....and could conceivably rip the socks. Uncooked rice could lead to impaction. I've never had trouble with the heat or the rice, but I thought you should all be warned. Another note (Squeamish, look out!) when your iguana is "done", there may be semen on the toy. You *need* to clean it off before re-heating, or it will stink up your microwave badly. Nasty but true.....trust me, I know. Just wait till it dries and peel it off. :)
I'm making a page about it to add to my website. I'll let you all know when it's up!
Best,
Jamie/JBug
