Hi there,
The aggressiveness towards other iguanas you describe right after egglaying is a
phenomenon that is so often seen with cyclura iguanas, and I assume a similar thing
would happen in Green iguanas.
This is why breeding facilities often separate the female and the male right after egglaying.
Cyclura are much more territorial than green iguanas but to avoid lifelong scarring on both igs I would separate them.
