HD, please don't feel responsible. As I said, I wasn't even home so I wouldn't have read another post. The only thing that might have saved him is if I took him to the vet's when I knew he wasn't feeling well, instead of hoping it was just him being mad that we went away or the A/C bothering him.
You've been nothing but extremely helpful, since you showed me how to find this forum. I thank you for all of your help. I will let you all know what the results are, when I hear back from the vet.
