This is true, testing is not worth doing, all iguanas have non-active salmonella but this could change right after having a test done. So a negitive on a salmonella test maybe true for that day but 2 days later your iguana could have active salmonella. This was reported to me by our Herp Vet and I definitely trust his knowledge.
