Well...I gotta say that all these stories about mating season and agressive males have me a little concerned. To the point where Kermit is going to be caged. We decided last night that since he loves this closet so much its going to become his home. We're gonna put some light in there and some shelves and some branches and make it into an enclosure for him. I think it will work pretty well! We're gonna but a screen door on it and it should work out pretty nice. It seems that Kermit's beef right now is this closet. He doesn't want anybody coming near it. Tonight I got smacked with his tail and I'm scared to death to reach in there for him. I'm gonna let Piggy remain free roaming and Kermit is getting caged. I don't think I could find him a home because he is so antisocial. He isn't the type of ig you can take out like Piggy is. Piggy is on the mend very well too. Her bite have healed over and I even think her spike is gonna make it also. She got bit trying to get in the closet, I know because it almost happened again this evening! Thank goodness I was hear and hear the commotion.

Anyway...you male ig owners...is there really an end to this "season" stuff? This is the first year Kermit has shown any behavior like this and I honestly can't tolerate this kind of behavior all the time. He knows who the boss it, he's just very very testy right now.
