Transported Lightning to vet in an empty Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner box with air holes. When "daddy" attempted to remove her from box she became the TASMANIAN devil LOL Got the towel over her *whew* Settles down and then gets weighed sans towel. She weighed in at 6lb5oz. Back under the towel to await vet. Notice there is fresh poop in box. Yippee! Ask for a fecal to be done because she's 5 years old and has never had one done (don't throw things!) Fecal is "clean." Yippee again!

The shirts that the vet and staff wear at this clinic are really really neat. They are jungle print with all sorts of animals on them. The one the vet had on had all sorts of lizards on them. I'm supposed to get in touch with "Judy" on Monday and she can give me the catalog info for getting these shirts. It's a veterinarian supply catalog.

While waiting during her surgery a woman came in with a gorgeous female ig named Eden. We compared arm scars :o) I had some brand new ones with fresh blood nyah, nyah.

When they get her blood panel in I'm going to ask them to send me a copy of it or e-mail the results to me. I saved off the norms that Desiree posted out of Mader's (I believe it was her & him). I realize that labs can be different but I want to compare anyway.

And for anyone keeping tabs on such things or for those reading this wondering how much vet bills can be for an iguana....grand total today was $311 thank you very much! ($29 o/v, $67 tail amp., $102 blood work, plus the anesthetic, meds and fecal)
