Agree with all of Sue's info and asking for a fecal exam if you can get a sample. You can try a website that is kept current by some nice folks from this forum :o) You may find that there is a herp vet nearby you. Normally for a check up a herp vet is going to do a fecal exam and look for signs of Metabolic Bone Disease and run a blood test of he/she suspects there may be a problem with calcium...or kidney or liver functions. Then during a first visit the herp vet will talk to you about diet and lighting.

You don't mention whether or not you are well-versed in iguana care. So I'm going to also give you the one site we usually recommend. There are others. At Melissa Kaplan's you can use the index to do a quick-look-see on diet and lighting. You may want to do this even if you are familiar with iguana care simply because things seem to change alot with them.
