Have you already ruled out bearded dragons, chuckwallas, desert iguanas or other lizard? I know nothing about water dragons...but if any reptile is easier maintenance than GGIs I'd jump at em....Ive got two adult igs....My igs do not come when their called.I do not sleep with them...in fact its a mutual respect kind of thing...I am the owner Alpha 1,2,3 and they are reptiles...wild animals that are incapable of being domesticated much like a bird! My male recently neutered because of super aggressive behavior at breeding season time...If I had it all over to do again...I'd be into bearded dragons(they got lots of personality too!)....dog gone it...but Ive got my two p.i.t.a's for life...There are better days than not but they sure do require alot of time...not a recommended pet if you don't have it. Husbandry, dietary needs super sensitive...vet bills expensive , health problems frequent. This post is meant to show the positive side of owning an ig! lol
Tuff decision Undecided...lol..Have you posted to the water dragon forum? Would be interesting to see what they say over there.
