Update on rescue

Well, the girl is doing good! She was sooo well behaved at the vet. No infection, thank goodnes, so no oral antibiotics. Just lots of soaks, betadine, and triple antibiotic ointment. Sounds easy but the wound is right over her mouth and includes the notrils so we have to be pretty careful. Muscle tone is good, she's a tad dehydrated but she is taking care of that on her own already, eating well and drinking in the tub several times a day. I think she is going to recover nicely. Now to see if she will retain that awesome orange color and the GREEN eyes!! j
