Interesting! I'll have to try these with mine and see if they like them. We do..us humans here! I do only feed mine bread as a treat. I can see them getting real heavy on a bread diet and try to avoid that. Piggy is my "eat anything mom eats" girl. She loves the soft serve low fat ice creams from McD's. I have to peel her off me! she eats popcorn, chips, she loves the Air Crisp Wheat Thins. She is pretty funny and I can't be around her when I'm eating. She just has to have a taste and if she likes it, I usually loose..lol!

: Howdy Judy,
: A little bit of wheat bread is not bad, consider it a "treat" and not an every day food item. We let our igs have Nutri-Grain Bars (blueberry) they go nuts over it. We've had them run us over to get to it. Lola....for the most part is a couch potatoe...but when she hears that wrapper.....look out...she flys across the room full speed. Here's the ingredents/percentage of daily intake on Nutri-grain bars:
:
: Vit A: 15% Vit C: 0%
: Calcium: 20% Iron: 10%
: Thiamin: 25% Riboflavin: 25%
: Niacin: 25% Vit B6: 25%
: Folate: 10% Phosophorus: 4%
: Zinc: 10% Total Fat: 5%
: Sodium: 5% Total Carb.: 9%
: Protein: 2g.(Plant base)
: This is only a suggestion for a once in awhile treat...this shouldn't be feed on a regular bases.
