Our friend Marie Eguro was helping a person in Singapore to find vegetables for an iguana on the IML. Since I live in a fairly large city with a lot of diversity, I thought I might be able to find some of these. With Marie's permission I'm posting here the information she provided.
*******
"Some types of calcium rich foods commonly found in the US (like collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, etc) may not be easily found in Asia. I could not find any of them in Japan. Good leafy greens usually found in Asia would include:

Komatsuna 5.3:1
Moroheya 2.6:1
Chingensai 3.9:1
Kabu no ha 5.9:1
daikon no ha 5.0:1
shungiku 1.9:1
nazuna 3.2:1

I also have oxalate levels and all sorts of info regarding foods commonly found in Asia. EMAIL me if you want these values."
************

I contacted Marie for a bit more information and she told me the following:

"Komatsuna in particular has very high calcium, low phosphorus, and nearly non existant oxalate acid level. Also, I have yet to meet an iguana that does not like to eat it!
The leaves look very much like spinach but the way to tell is from the roots... they are white whereas spinach is red.
Moroheya (moloheiya) is actually an egyptian plant, but I see it all over Asia and not in the US for some reason. The leaves are very yummy in soups, and this is the other leaf almost all iguanas like. The other greens some iguanas may have likes and dislikes, so you will have to see."
**********

Hopefully if some of you are interested in trying these you will be able to locate them in your city :o) If you don't have any Asian markets, you might try those fancy organic type stores.
