A suggestion for saving info off of forum

I don't know how far back things are saved here at this forum for the search engine to retreive. I know that after marking something to save a month later I got a 404 msg when I tried to pull it up :(

There are those out there far more proficient (and efficient) than I on the workings of a computer, and there may be an easier way to save these things. But this is what I do when I want to have access to something that is NOT on a website permanently. I highlight it, cut, then paste it as a New Message to my own addy. Then I throw it in a marked folder under my internet mail system. One of these days I'm going to go back and print it all out and put it in a nice, subject divided notebook.....probably when I'm about to get a message that my server will dump or can't hold more :o)

THANKS for the new info Gina! And thanks for breaking down the math. Now, to find my ibuprofen because math does that to me.
