First, want to tell that Lightning is back to her old self again :o) B*itchy but in a nicer, gentler manner LOL

You may recall that one of the things I thought may have been wrong with her was constipation. Silly me, who should really know better all things considered, fed her a good dose of whole kernel corn with 2 of her meals thinking that it would help "speed" things along. Now that she is all better I take the time to check Melissa Kaplan's website for any help on constipation.

*sigh* Yes, there is an article there and yes, corn is a no-no for constipation. In fact, according to the website, it can actually cause blockage. Who knew?! BTW it is recommended that things like peas be squashed up before feeding so that they don't become an impaction problem. (Didn't know that either so I'm glad I found my way to this page.)

Well, now that I know, I'm going to make sure to spread the word LOL I'm leaving two websites for you all. One is on constipation/diarrhea (describes feces too!) and the other talks about laxatives (don't give)and some natural things to try...and it isn't CORN! :o)

I keep finding things at MK's website that I've never read before and I know from IML stuff that she's adding some new stuff to it. This place must be vast! So for those of you who already knew about these places on her site, sorry!
