They do come in different wattages and they ARE expensive if you buy yours in the store. If you want to get one, check out www.herpsupplies.com You order them from the site and have them shipped to you. Mine usually arrive 2 days after my order is placed (if done in the am) and his prices aer about 50% off of a retail price.

Just to give you an idea... an 18" vita lite for $13.95 and about$2 shipping on that.

: Hi everyone. I am turning my entertainment center into a new home for my iguana (Reptar) and would appreciate any suggestions you care to give. I haven't checked into a ceramic heater yet but I have the Ultimate Ig manual and got some idease there. Do the ceramic heaters come in different wattages? Are they expensive? Right now I have my baby in a 55 gallon (He's still a baby) and I use a bulb for heat. I use the reptisun for his uvb but I am also building an outdoor cage for him soon so he can hang out in the natural sun during the summer months. Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks.
