bruised iggy

Last night the iggy I have been taking care of managed to fit his body through 1in x1/2 inch square of his cage and got stuck at the waist. I wire cut him out and he is moving around fine but he has a big bruise on his back. Just wondering if there is any thing I should do. He Should hopefully have a new home by this weekend and I want to make sure everything is ok before I send him to a new home.
