thousands... there arent many in the world and i believe there to only be up to 4 right now total.
i could be a little off tho. Lots of people are interested in breeding them but there high price tag along with the fact that igs really do need natural sunlight makes them hard for even commercial breeders to deal with... no one wants to lose a $10 thousand dollar lizard.
