Education is the ultimate thing we need to get across to the public as far as reptiles period.Yes Bds are the next new ig for the public.They are touted as being easier and not as big and diet is easier.This is true but you still need to educate the buying public.As Dan stated earlier,after the movie 101 dalmations,everyone rushed out and bought an expensive dog to find out later that they were a handful to raise.Now the shelters are full of dalmations.There is no black and white when it comes to caring for reptiles.They have just started spaying female igs and don't even think about spaying a bd.We all have to work and learn as much as possible and work together with the breeders.As was stated by Kev,Germany and other countries outdo us in every aspect of herpitology,they learn and learn which is what we are doing here.Please lets get back to learning,enjoying and educating each other and this country.Lets discuss not fuss.
