Mine was the one you saw with the pvc interior and the expensive pricetag! No they cannot climb pvc very well, which is why we wrapped it with plastic carpet runner material & also made shelves that way. Plus we have the ropes in there. You could make a cage out of cheap lumber, a glass front, and a wire top-- maybe for that price (depending how big). The cheapest cage is probably all wire & wood but igs don't do so well in this (nose rubbing & can't control temps as well).
