So, I just read the article and I'm thinking - I've been saying that for years!
My 'guana man DEFINITELY knows the difference between his "family" and strangers. He even knows the difference between me and EJ. For instance, I'm the one that feeds him, bathes him, helps him shed, and cleans up after him and he definitely likes EJ better. All EJ has to do is talk to him and Trex closes his eyes and chills. When EJ stops talking, he opens his eyes as if to say "hey, what did you stop for?"
Me, he just looks at like "What do YOU want?"
Go figure.
