Well said Cliff

This is just what I meant in my post, but I have to say you put the words a little bit better that I did ( do you have a degree in Psycology too, do you, lol )

I have worked as a veterinary assistant / animal keeper / head keeper / curator ( primarily reptiles and later primates ) for almost twenty years and what I have learned is never to look down on people just because they might not know as much as I do in my profession. Then only way I can help is to treat people with the respect they deserve, because if I don't, how would I ever have a chance to get them to listen respectfully to what I have to say. ALSO, even more important, there are absolutely people out there ( "amateurs" and others ) that has a LOT to teach me in my own backyard, I see that here at the forum. There are soo many people here thet really have a dedication to their Iguanas, and I might not agree sometimes and especially when it comes to the "humanisation" of them and the need for the contact ( won't go into that field again, sorry ), but still I respect their / your opinion.

What really makes me angry is when some individuals seems to have all the answers and NO wish to even discuss if they are wrong or not. Unfortunatly it's the animals and not the owners that is going to get the consequences from the ignorence and false pride of their owners. AND, face it, EVERYBODY is wrong sometimes, and should be humble enough to admit it!!

Bosse
