from what I understand...many of the people that post here are not breeders. correct captive care is more there thing.

also... as a few people already stated.
substrate is not going to induce your igs to breed. daylight cycles and a definate dry season wet season yes. as far as substrate... dont worry about that till get at least have a gravid female.
