About Kev.. as y'all know, I was one of the FIRST to jump on him with both feet about feeding crickets to igs, etc. Well.. I hate to tell y'all this but I have been emailing Kev back and forth for several days now.

Leave it to one liners and forum posts and I don't particularly care for his information or presentation either. We have agreed to disagree on several key points but surprisingly enough we also AGREE on several key points. Education. Research. Responsibility of ownership.

Put aside the name calling, accusations, and insults and ask him intelligent questions. He will give you VERY intelligent, well thought out answers. Maybe not 100% to your way of thinking, but then he's not required to think like you or I.

I have asked him several questions as a former breeder regarding numbers of iguanas imported, from where, to where, their conditions, etc. I got ANSWERS.. and not excuses. Actual nubmers which I would be happy to post for you. This is not an overall number, just from HIS experience, which is what I asked for.

Everyone is SO quick to jump on the bandwagon in forums like this.. happens in ALL of them (hit the venemous forums if you're bored, LOTS of it over there) and I hate to see it here.

How about instead of arguing and flat out baiting and taunting each other, we ALL agree to disagree on some points and maybe try to educate each other.. isn't that what this forum is for!?

Oh, yeah, and don't ANYONE even think of accusing me of condoning breeding iguanas. Regardless of his reasons, which DO make sound, logical sense, I still believe it to be wrong.

How many people scoffed at Melissa Kaplan when SHE first hit the scene and to this day continue to say she's wrong? Or Jennifer Swofford? Think about it, people.
