Wait til the Savannah gets older! It's too young to know the difference right now. The truth is with the Savannah being a carnivore and the iguana being a herbivore...well you guess the rest!!!

: I read that Ig's and other animals don't mix and I beg to differ. I have a 5 year old Ig that has caged with my 1 year old Savannah Monitor for 6 months without any aggresive behavior on eithers part. They have a very large enclouser with 6 different basking spots but I have yet to see them bask in separate spots. They're constantly together. My Ig will just lay his head on my monitors back and they'll both just chill until they had enough sun. I've even noticed my Ig trying to squeeze into my monitors hide boxes with him. Also my cat and Ig sleep together on occassions when Hes out of his cage.
