In Reply to: In all that you have posted Kev....not one word mentioned about the "blue shadows" posted by Harry's Dad on June 28, 1999 at 17:20:36:
did i not mention bad exposure....??? and also havent i mentioned enough about that image???
lets see....
the exposure is bad...
your conclusion that %20 somehow means 20% was wrong...
and i gave you open invitation to show you with your own 2 eyes anytime you make a trip to fl...
lets see.... OK
the idea that a blue lens was used may be possible but doubtful... again take a pic of something on a white background then take it to 1 hr processing then scan it....
speaking of scaning... even used a cheap scanner... hmmm doesnt even have to be cheap scanner bulbs give off a blue to purple cast when they get old.... or we can assume that it was a brand new bulb.... well lets see almost all scanners scan worse when they are cold... gotta let that bulb heat up.... or maybe the color correction was a little offf....
being that i OWN a graphic design biz and have for quite a while... would you like to call and verify i can give you my number... maybe some clients numbers would work better for you???
errr... anyway being that i OWN a graphic design biz i can tell you right now... NO ONE would be that dumb to alter an images color and leave the shadows blue... its just too damn easy to only select the animal and ONLY adjust its color...
hmmm some proof... go pic up a FAMA Fresh Water and Marine Aquarium... look for an add from a company called tropico reeflife... we did that add for them that they have been running for almost three years now... so the original pic was only a few animals... we added the rest of the corals and marine life from his on hand animals... we did pics scaned them adjusted the color and removed the animal from its original background and placed it on the new one....
Like i said its too easy to do it right...
and again like i said... the blue shadows are more than likely due to bad exposure or bad scaning.
please can we end this it is rediculous... i shouldnt have to defend my opinions to you... not until you at least know what you are talking about.
