Last night I had the neatest experience, to which I'm sure you
all can relate. I let Padishar soak for a bit, got her out,
wrapped her in a towel and held her with her head on my left arm,
like you would hold a baby (kind of). She was so mellow that
she just stayed there, being held, with her eyes closed, for the
longest time. The she decided she needed to be on my head. LOL
How funny is it to have a lizard on your head? Luckily she isn't
too big that she can't fit nicely. She sat there for the longest
time and then, because I could feeling her little velcro nails
digging into my scalp, I brought her down and put her on my table
where the computer was set up (laptop). The table isn't used
for eating and has actually become a "catch all" lately. So...
I put the town down, on top of my purse and some other junk...
and she fell asleep! LOL How cool! And today she is much more
active already. When I fed her, she saw me coming and cocked
her little head to the side and eagerly came to eat. :o) (She
really does like carrots, and I do only feed them as a treat.)
Now, since I know she can sit and "chill" with me, I MUST do
something about her enclosure. Gosh, I wish someone was nearby
to take a look at my space and help me out. Ugh...
Oh, and by the way, she's beautiful. :o) Even without her
little fingers.
Thanks again for everyone listening to me rant and go back and
forth from keeping her to finding her another home. I think I
might have some extra cash, so... Hechinger's, here we come!
