If you hear this high pitched squeal or hear it and see your iguana gape its mouth, he's burping! You might need to help him out if he's too bloated for comfort. Ever burp a baby? Let your iguana lay up on your shoulder and gently pat him to the side of his spikes (do both sides separately). Do it for just a few minutes. You'll either get another burp while he's up there or one after you put him down. I've had to do this a few times with ours. I just walk the floor or sway a bit in place and pat,pat,pat while I hum or sing softly...just like I did when the human kids were little.
