nest boxes

I'm not Jeff Lemm by any stretch of the imagination! However, I would suggest dig boxes. One idea is to take a 40 gal garbage can, with lid,fill it 3/4 full of potting soil/sand, moistened so it will hold shape, duct tape the lid on, tilt it on it's side. Cut a smooth hole in the lid, and let your ig try it out. Much easier to get the eggs, which I assume is the point. Just an idea!
