IMHO and experience, there is no true average when it comes to this, or iguanas in general. Esp. when you consider that most people who have iguanas with MBD, at this point when there is so much education available, got the iguana already affected and knew what the deal was because they were educated. I've learned time and time again that, for the most part, people getting rid of iguanas with medical issues aren't always either 100% honest or just didn't care enough to start noticing when things started going wrong. Don't mean to offend anyone with that generalization and for the most part I stay away from them but this is just my observations over the past few years.
