First congrats sounds like you are working toward iris being a sweety. On the other iggy im sorry to say this but id have to say its a bad idea. All though I know your heart is in the right place I dont think youd be ready. From what I remember you are a teen NOTHING against teens as I was married at 17 so I KNOW there are responsible ones out there. But you are right now working with a stuborn/opinionated iggy, you live in your parents home (correct?) you have college to prepare for and a full life ahead. Will you be able to support the vet bills alone for this new speical needs? What about time? right now your energies are having to work with Iris do you have time to double or triple the amount that you need to give now? What about caging? whats your parents going to say when they eventually need TWO small sized rooms to house them seperatly?
WHat happens when you move out? What about finding an appt that will allow a 6 ft or more adult "scary" lizzard, how they going to feel about TWO of them?
Its hard to think with your head instead of your heart TRUST me I know, Good luck though and I hope you and Iris keep getting closer each day.
: Today I held him with gloves and, instead of always staring at me with an open moth and hissing, he took an interest in his surounding! It is amazing! Also, I am thinking of adopting this "special needs" ig. Her name is Leno and she is in NC. She had a horrible case of MBD(I think, or something that ruined her) and now she can only scoot along the ground. Do you guys think I should adopt her? I want to SO bad! I know Isis would be angry though. They would be in seperate cages. GOTTA GO. BYE!
