Pablo...forgot to mention about taming...most report taming to take anywhere from 9-12 months. Daily handling maybe 15 minutes each day then increasing the time 5 minutes every week. You may need a large towel to wrap around ig while handling besides long sleeves (sweatshirt) or tube socks cut off on one end as wrist gaurds & gloves to prevent scratches and/or bites. Here are a few sites that have pretty good info on taming techniques. Also wanting to escape...is normal ig behavior.Iguanas are incapable of being domesticated like a cat or dog...more like a caged bird...give em a chance & they fly away.These sites should help you.
