Ectoparasites are species specific. Reptile mites/ticks stick to reptiles. Dog/Mammal ticks/fleas stick to dogs, mammals. If yer gonna treat your room like with a bomb don't let your iguana in for a couple days after its been ventilated to be on the safe side since their sense of smell is so much more sensitive to chemicals /toxins.
