Hi, You're right you do need to find a handy person.(political correctness)I used a 8Lx4Hx2D for an adult for a while but he was getting plenty of free roam time. If you plan on limiting free time I would suggest at least 15sq ft of floor space and at least 6 ft high. I assume Padishar will continue to grow to a normal 4-6 ft length. While the cage you describe might be marginally sufficient for the short term, I would solve the caging needs for the long term at this stage. Now you have MHO.
