I don't want to give you false hope but just last night I read a post of someone who's neighbor called them about an iguana on their woodpile sunning itself. It did belong to the person and the iguana had been missing a very very long time. Don't know if the weather is warmer yet in Canada or not...but you might want to remind any neighbors of your loss and ask them to keep an eye out. Especially the kids! It was kids that found this person's.

When you're ready for another put up a post here and there are plenty of people who can help you find what you are looking for at the time.
