: We would not recommend that you put a baby ig in with a 3 year old ig. No! No! One bite from your bigger ig would more than likely kill the baby. We have 2 igs who are housed in the same room, but separate cages. They still headbob each other. We do let them free roam in the house and for the most part, they get along fine. We've had a couple of incidents where the bigger of the 2 has bit the smaller one. What can happen when you have a larger ig in with a smaller ig (other than fighting) is the bigger ig will be the dominent one and eat the majority of the food, and take the best basking spot. If you're able, sure get another ig, but make sure you can house them separately. I'd also suggest instead of buying a baby ig, contact a local rescue group and adopt an ig that would otherwise be put to sleep. Trust me, there are many many igs out there in need of new homes.
