Iggy Update

I dropped off the ig that came to me this weekend at the vet. The vet just called.. he said definite starvation. He's going to run a fecal test and a blood profile for me as well. He wants to hold off on opening up those lumps on his face and dewlap until he gets the results from the tests back. He says there is a chance it's old scar tissue, and in that case he doens't see a reason to open them up. If his tests show infection, he will.

His recommendation was extra food (nothing special, just proper diet and as much of it as the ig will eat) and isolation. He thinks beign around others may stress him more than he needs.

He said he saw a starving but alert, active, and friendly iguana under there. Looks like he'll be okay.

I'll get pics posted this week if I can. Be great to do some before and afters with this guy.
