: Also there can be two reasons why that iguana was in the wild..
: 1). it escaped from it's owner....who is probably worried sick and looking for it.
: 2). It's previous owner no longer wanted it so he/she turned the iguana loose. (sorry but it happens alot)
: Iguanas need between 80 to 95 degree temperatures to live properly. Most areas of the US are not suited for Iguanas in the wild (except southern Florida and the very southern part of Texas)
: One other thing to remember about a Iguana's diet...don't feed him/her any animal protein, Cheese,dog food,etc.... as with Iguanamomma posted...stay with the greens she listed.
: But please check to see if someone is missing their iguana.....some iguana owners really love their "kids".....everyone on this board does!!!!! I'd fall to pieces if Lola or Harry got loose and I couldnt find them!!!
