Well I'll just tell you what I do. I have shelf that run a long the window in my living room. There I have crates, a wood plant stand from K-mart and a 3ftx3ftx3ft metal cage that Angus sleeps on top of. I have two heating pad placed at the spots he likes to lay. Then I have plant hooks in the ceiling to hang my heat lights. I have his lights pointed so that they cover most of his area. He is really good about staying in his area and only gets down when he goes to the bathroom in his litter box in the bathroom. I live in a dry area so I give Angus bathes, I mist him and I also have a humidafier. I am working on a huge cage for him for out side so he can get lots of sun but when winter comes I'm going to move it in side and put him in it. The thing is that I'm going to live his door open so that he can come out when he wants but Iknow for the most part he'll stay in it because he know that is his place. I don't know if any of this helped but here you go any way.
