Well...both of mine USED to be free roamers...but not now. I live in CA. humidity is a big big problem...since iguanas require it 60-100% at least 3 hours daily...I never thought about it while my igs roamed the house...Juana in the front room...Feo in my bedroom. Big problem...as poor humidity contributes to problems like increased dehydration, elevated uric acid levels and kidney disease. ***sigh*** if humidity is NOT a problem where you live...all you need to do is secure a window sill/screen for basking in uvb free sunlight. Mount (wall or ?) a basking bulb somewhere where ig can get access to heat. As long as the ambient temps don't drop to less than 70degrees long term heating problems aren't an issue. If ambient temps get lower than 60degrees long term you got problems...a radiated oil heater one large enough & contained so that ig won't knock it over...is good...or mount (wall or ?) infared heat lamp...so provides vision & heat for your ig at his basking/hangout spot. Make sense?...sorry Im tired! A few suggestions...
Goodnight
Gina
