3-4 years typically to mature. Sexual dimorphic characteristics at about 12-18 months. Female iguanas CAN lay eggs as young as a year, but 3 yrs old is more common. Males can produce seminal fluid at 12+ months.
Much like humans...at age 12 most "boys" experience their first ejaculate, but do you consider them "sexually mature", or girls that experience their first menses at age 9-10. Adulthood (maturity) or bodily/hormonal functions who knows?....Im STILL having trouble with this terminology :-(
