How about the large numbers of adult homeless iguanas and the idea of adopting vs. buying (kinda like they encourage for fluffy animals and the SPCA?).

MSOT people interested in becoming first time iguana owners don't know how many hundreds come through programs like ours, or worse, die.

We setup new owners with a HEALTHY iguana and copy of Jen Swoffords iguana guide (printed, 49 pages!) and offer unlimited advice and help either over the phone or during in home visits. We also list available books (James Hatfield's) and encourage other research on iguana care. Business cards for veterinarians with the most experience treating reptiles are also included.

If you'd like, I can offer some statistics for our little organization as well as collect statistics from others as well.

: Caging, lighting, diet, temp, humidity, & taming. I think those are the biggies. What did I miss gang?

: Joan
