i ahve another trick that i use as well. try taking a piece of romiane and using a flavor of organic baby food, spread a layer on with a knife like you would put butter on a piece of toast. then take very finely chopped veggies and greens and sprinkle them into the baby food and press them down so they stay in there. then feed your iguana the peice of romaine by hand with the side with the baby food faced down so that she can`t see all the stuff. once she takes a bite she has no choice but to eat everything stuck to the leaf that she just bit into. this has worked very well for me with my iguana.also, if you ahve a problem with the sprinkled veggies falling off, fold the leaf up like you would fold a burrito so that the sprinkles will be on the inside. and then they won`t be lost when she bites into the leaf. you can use any vegetable or fruit flavor of baby food for this. i ahve found the veggies to be a thicker consistency that works a little better, some good flavors are squash ( butternut or acorn), green beans, peas,mixed veggies, or raspberry, blueberry, or something of that sort. just remember to use an organic flavor that doesn`t contain any colorings or adds any sugars or salts. good luck!

: I agree with others about diet & sunlight & UVB flourescent tube. This is a tip to get her to eat the right food while she is in this stressed/traumatized time. I would reccommend not taking romaine away until she is stronger/less stressed. Hand feed her a little piece of romaine with a piece of collard green underneath so she cannot see it or taste it if she licks at it. And while she is munching these, sneak in another small piece of squash in the side of her mouth (they open their mouths a lot when they eat & are not apt to spit & extra thing out) Do this whenever you feed her. Eventually she will get a bit more used to the other flavors & you can take away romaine completely (once she is up & around again). It really is a double edged sword to completely switch to a diet the iguana doesn't want right now when she is so sick (she needs the new diet, but it can stress her out enough to where she is in worse shape) I have used this sneaky "a veggie you like on top of one you don't" to get my iguanas to try new things & it's been pretty successful.
