In Reply to: MBD Question posted by Joe on May 25, 2001 at 08:41:37:

The short, simple answer is ......There is no average time that MBD can go undetected.

The answer you don't want to hear, and I say this based on your post, is that it will really depend on MANY factors. As Craig already explained, MBD is a condition and not a disease. To the best of my knowledge there has been no intensive research or study done that can answer your particular MBD related question.

Some symptoms of MBD are so subtle that the average person might miss them. There are also severe symptoms that one wold have to be daft to miss (but sadly there are those out there who either do or choose to ignore the obvious).

On a slightly different subject but on a similar line, for the most part when it comes to iguanas the answers to the questions you have many very well depend on more than one factor. People aren't being dismissive when they answer a post saying "it depends on a few things", they are only giving you their best educated answer based on the information you presented.

And this brings me to the conclusion of this post which is ... Is there a particular reason you are asking this question? Maybe if you can provide more than a generalized question, one of us will be able to give you a better answer or help find a better answer.
