Just a few...ideas for placement....post a flyer...locally or at any exotic pet vet. Mostly experienced reptile owners there...good chance you'll make a connection. Also check out Melissa Kaplan's website on rescue groups in NY...please try to *ig*nore the opinionated summary in the beginning. Some may not be good numbers ..I don't know how updated these sites are. Also Ive included the link to New York Herpetological Society...call them for ideas & a current list of rescues in the area. I used to have some links...for New York area...can't find em now! figures....good luck to you...in the meantime with this lil hellion...food & water no handling & certainly no more free roaming for awhile. He's gotten the taste of freedom and now demanding it!
My female is doing the same exact thing. And she WAS a pussycat...till I caged her...she has tried to bite me...has whipped the crappola outta me & hissing and is so mad about being caged...she has bashed her nose in...& scraped off the scales the top of her head...rubbing herself against the basking branch. Tuff! for her...this has been going on for two weeks! Things are looking up...sometimes it takes awhile before they get it thru they're thick heads that your the BOSS!
Here ya Go with some links...
Good Luck to you
Gina
