Domenico, di solito è il venditore che garantisce sul sesso del serpente. Quando capita purtroppo che il venditore non è in grado di fare questo tipo d'operazione (CHE LO AMMETTA O NO!), bisogna sessarlo con una sonda, se si è capaci si può fare da soli, altrimenti basterà affidarsi ad un veterinario (e la visita veterinaria andrebbe sempre fatta sui nuovi animali acquistati). Se non lo hai mai fatto ti consiglio di lasciare al veterinario questo compito, perchè i lampropeltis, soprattutto di un solo anno, sono molto vivaci e si lasciano difficilmente maneggiare, ed una mano poco esperta potrebbe ferirlo.
