È vorace? Se sì, quanto riesce a mangiare? Prova a dargli un topo vivo, poi usando delle pinze proponigli un topo ancora caldo muovendoglielo d'avanti (Il morso di un pitone reale, anche se non doloroso, può sempre costituire uno shock). Mi raccomando di non fargli arrivare il topo dall'alto! Faglielo strisciare vicino: non toccare il serpente col topo!
Di solito dopo un po' di volte che fai questo giochetto dovrebbe accettare anche solo topi morti e addirittura scongelati e riscaldati (il mio accettava anche pezzi di tacchino e pollo nei casi di emergenza).
